Nice to meet you!

"To me the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it's about, but the music the words make."- Truman Capote

It all started when...

I attended my first music concert at Madison Square Garden at the age of fifteen. Although there were several reggaeton artists entertaining the audience, it was the DJ that captivated me in between performances. A whole new world opened up to me. I knew I was meant to create something with music, but it wasn't until that day when my soul told me "let's do this."

Since then, I studied the craft of DJing. I graduated from Hostos Community College with an associate's in audio engineering. My love for writing led me to earn a bachelor's in multimedia journalism at Lehman College. I have had the opportunity to DJ some amazing events, engineer a live theater production, and contribute my writing skills to a variety of projects.

Now, I am focused on combining my two passions together to create The Rhythm of  Life. It is not just a music based blog, but about how I walk to my own beat while trying to bring the power of music to others.
